• Bandwidth Management (Quality of Service traffic prioritization)

Software products in the firewall and web security groups are supplied as ’software appliances’ (complete packages to convert a standard server or PC into a dedicated hardware security appliance).

SmoothWall also offers a range of powerful UTM hardware appliances, designed to protect networks of all sizes. All models feature a comprehensive set of network security functions, combining firewall, VPN, anti-virus, anti-spam and IDS with IM control, Guardian web filtering, load balancing and Bandwidth Management (QoS).
